The Scholarship Selection Committee of the Grand Lodge of Iowa is pleased to announce that again scholarships will be awarded to a number of students that will graduate this academic year from public high schools within the state. Last year 60 scholarships were awarded for $2,000 each. The final determination of the number and the amount for this year is dependent upon the investment income earned.
Masonic Scholarship Application due February 1, 2012
The Masonic Charitable Educational Corporation is pleased to again offer the MCEC Technical Scholarships, thanks to the generosity of Brother Francis Spencer. The scholarships, known as the “Mark Earl and Esther Ruth Spencer Technical Scholarship, will be awarded to a number of graduating Iowa public high school seniors who plan to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at an accredited Iowa Community College. The scholarships may be used for any bona fide school related expense such as tuition, fees, books, and tools. The final determination of the number and the amount is dependent on the investment income earned.
