- The cross country teams competed in the South Sioux City cross country meet Thur. afternoon. The ladies were the first to compete. It is truely a challenge since both class A and B run together so you are running with 101 runners but they are scored seperate. Renee Choquette was our top finisher coming in 21st. Paige Copple continues to lower her time by cutting 19 seconds. The guys had to compete with 106 runners. Skyler Hostetler finished 2nd while Hunter Hostetler come in 3rd. We finished 5th out of 9 teams.
In the junior high Brennan Brown medaled finishing 6th out of 29. Tyler Siegfried was 12th while Juan Gomez was 13th. Top finisher for the girls was Brooklyn Topf coming in 20th. Amy Hamann and Mackenzie Malloy each lowered their race times. This group only has 2 more races, one next Thur while conference will be Oct. 8th Nice job everyone!
