Rebel Girl's Home Trackmeet

The Lady Rebel track team performed well at their home meet on Friday. Kaylee Hobbs and Kayla Nielson through personal or season best at the shot while Danielle Folsom did the same with the discus. Place winners were: 5th place by the Distance Medley relay (Katie Struble, Shannen Platzek, Kelsie Lyon and Rachael Steinhoff), 4 x 800 (Shannen, Skye Burton, Brittany Hamann, and Crystal Peres), Kaylee in the shot and Breea Bockelmann in the 200. 4th place was taken by the 4 x 200 (Breea, Megan Polly, Renee Choquette and Megan Crawford). Third place finishes by: 4 x 100 (Breea, Megan P, Kallie Kressin and Megan C), the shuttle hurdle relay ( Megan C, Kelsie L, Kallie K, and Renee C) and then by Megan Crawford in the long jump. They will next compete at districts where the first place winners advance to state as well as the next best 12 across the state. Wish them luck!
