Cross Country - Heelan Meet

The high school cross country season started with great weather to run on Friday. The guy's team was lead by Skyler Hostetler and Hunter Hostetler finishing 2nd and 3rd in our class. The guys finished 3rd as a team in our class. Brandon Croghan and Paige Copple has their first varsity races. Renee Choquette had the best run of the night finishing almost a whole minute faster than her last year's time. It was nice to have a race and not just another practice. A few of them learned something about themselves and their effort during the run. They can work hard to get ready for the next meet which is Sept. 8th at Holstein when the junior high will join us. Nice job runners!
